Who we are
Batten Court Design is a high-touch, low-volume interior design consultancy creating residential and hospitality spaces in the Carolinas and beyond. Led by Elizabeth, our studio combines an artist’s instinct for composition and curation with the rigor of international hospitality design. We don’t work toward a signature look. We uncover the idea at the heart of each project and build something that could only belong to the people and place it was created for.

Commercial & Hospitality Interior Design
Interior design for full-service hotels, lifestyle hotels, resorts, boutique hotels, food and beverage, mixed-use, multi-family and retail.
We create properties rooted in narrative, shaped by a global lens and designed around the experience of the people who use them. Wellness-focused, immersive and atmospheric, our spaces respond to their location and purpose rather than feeling dropped into place. From the first impression to the smallest detail, every element works toward a clear idea—and an experience that is difficult to forget.
Procurement Services
White-glove purchasing and delivery of furnishings, decorative lighting and our expert styling managed from source to final placement. Our white-glove service includes every step of the procurement process: we source each piece, manage purchasing, inspect items upon arrival, resolve damages or replacements, coordinate warehousing, oversee delivery, assemble and place each item with care, and remove all packaging and waste, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
